Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association is a socio literary and cultural organisation of and by the people of Assam residing in Kolkata and West Bengal as a whole. KACA was formed in 2008. The aim and objective of this association is to carry out social, cultural, educational and other development work for the promotion of Assamese culture, literature, language and to help Assamese people in Kolkata as a non-profit organization. KACA was registered under the Societies Registration Act. Govt of West Bengal (Regd. No. S/2L/4338) in Kolkata. We are committed to sustaining and promoting our culture and heritage, supporting the society we live in, and reinforcing our future generation with meaningful values.

As per the general body meeting of Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association held on 18″ Feb 2023, in agreement with all the present members & participants, the below executive committee has been selected to take forward the association’s further planning & activity:

Eligibility of Membership: Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association, (KACA)

Any person, without any restriction of caste and creed, and above the age of 18 years, will be eligible to become a member of the association. He or she shall have to be introduced to the executive committee/Association by a member of the Association and must apply to the Association in the prescribed form. Membership to the Association will be granted to eligible applicants after receipt of membership fees as per type of membership described here in after.

KACA on 05 May 24 presented Rupam Bhuyan in an unplugged session who graced the evening of Kolkata Rongali Bihu at Madhusudan Mancha Auditorium.
